Sun kissed!

MAY is my favorite month, not only b'coz it is my birth month, but also b'coz it is the best time to schedule a vacation leave and to enjoy SUMMER.
A few days ago, my hubby, his friends and I visited the beautiful island of Camiguin. It is around 485 kms. away from Davao. And here, I will be taking you back to Camiguin through the photos which I have posted below.

These were just some of the many most visited spots in the island and I hope that after reading this and looking at the photos you will get interested and plan your own vacation too in Camiguin.

Terranova tube top; pre-loved jeans skirt; Gaisano Mall-Davao beach hat; Aldevinco shawl

A TASTE OF CAMIGUIN
Start your day in Camiguin by visiting the White Island. It is just a 5-10 minute travel by banca. The banca only costs P400 (roundtrip) and there is an entrance fee of P20 per person. Take the first trip at 5 o'clock AM so that you still can witness the magnificent sunrise scenery.

Sassa bikini top; Nothin but H2o pink bracelet
For balut lovers like me, you sure will love this fresh Sea Urchin which only costs P10 per piece. It goes best with suka! =p
AROUND CAMIGUIN IN JUST EIGHT HOURS
They say, you can the enjoy the whole island of Camiguin in just one day. And yes, this is true, being the second smallest island in the country next to Batanes it is not impossible to tour the entire island in less than a day.
Here are seven of the tourist spots that we visited during our trip. And hey! We finished the tour in just eight hours. ;)
If you hate walking, like me, I don't recommend you taking the Station of the Cross. You are as if going mountain climbing. ;)
(entrance fee: P5/pax)

The Sunken Cemetery

Bura Soda Water Park
(Entrance Fee: P20)

Old Church Ruins

Sto. Nino Cold Spring
(Entrance Fee: P20)

Katibawasan Falls
(Entrance Fee: P30)

Ardent Hibok-Hibok Hot Spring
(Entrance Fee: P30)

My SUMMER was at its best in Camiguin. The views were breathtaking and the residents, as well, were great!
But to sum it all, the long hours of travel is all worth it. I can not explain the awe that I've experienced seeing the beauty of the island but I know that God's creations are really preserved in the area.

Truly, the Camiguin Trip was such a priceless birthday gift to me. ^^,
And speaking of gifts, already got the birthday present from Jadee. ;)
Watch out for a special feature that I will make with me wearing that nice "present" (my partner really has a good taste).
But wait! Jadee's also on her way for her own vacation too. Just keep posted and she will take you to another beautiful place that will also surely captivate you.

Surprise!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MA'AM RU! *a blast and a shower of confetti

...and that is what I call her - Ma'am Ru. Allow me to use it here for I feel uncomfortable if I just write Ru/Ruann, haha! Anyway, Jade here writing, because Ma'am Ru's currently on her vacation leave and it's her birthday today!!! We'd really appreciate it if you'll leave a shoutout for her here. :))

Since it's her special day, I dedicate this post to my partner-in-crime. *smiling sweetly now... Yes, we are partners-in-crime and I'll not say more than that *wink

Dear Ma'am Ru, I spent the past few days cooking up my surprise to you...

Then I remember you told me you want to have one of these...

Well, here it is. :D I'll make sure this pretty package is on top of your table when you get back. :)

Ridin' solo

Ridin' solo aptly describes this post because, one: we took the photos in our office's parking area for the executives, and two: no photos of us together this time. Reason? Well, the area was so hot we could not bear to stay longer than we did and also the bosses might catch us and wonder why we're taking a pose beside their cars =).
On Ruann
Forever21 top; Mango jeggings; Officine Platform Wedge; People are People brown belt
I was never a fan of belts. But thanks to Jadee (that's how i call Jade), her love for belts influenced me to get one for myself too. So while we're in Cebu I was lucky to find this simple yet classy belt at People are People. And I guess I'm now seeing the beauty of wearing belts. ;p  ---ru
We just had to pose by this cool and hip car owned by our MALE boss. Love the color? 'Coz we so lavit!
On Jade Bobson top; an Ukay find blazer; Lee jeggings; Finickee peep toe flats; Victoria Plaza Dept. Store headband; DIY bracelet
This white blazer is a treasure when I found it in a boutique at Dona Segunda Complex. With its green and pink thin stripes the blazer goes well with tops of the same colors. Skinny jeggings, rolled up sleeves, and pastel color for that girly smart style :)) ---jade

Five o'clock produced this ethereal version of the sun which is perfect for outdoor photo shoots. And speaking of outdoor, we'll soon feature outdoor outfit shots and/or great travel photos courtesy of Ruann's vacation trip to... :X We'll just leave it at that until it is posted!
